I just watched "Triumph of the Nerds", by Robert Cringely... Great documentary, and it left me thirsty for more..
I ran to iTunes, and bought and listened to "The second coming of Steve Jobs", which was a bit one-sided, and repeated a lot, but was still more about this great story..
I read through "Cult of Mac", and the Folklore.org stories, and then watched "Pirates of Silicon Valley"
Is there anything else out there that people would reccomend? It's such an engaging time, I'd love to learn more about the story of Apple..

***Forgive the.. Triple.. post.. The server seemed to get confused, and post the first two without any content, just the subject. I've since edited them, and hope they get deleted by mods***

There are a ton of Apple books on Amazon... I liked Jim Carlton's book personally. The Second Coming of Steve Jobs was a little trashy, but enjoyable too.

Thanks for the recommendation.
To elaborate a little.. My first post was far longer, containing a mini-review of each of the materials I had read.. But the server ate my post. It was a good post, too! And I had to write a whole.. Nevermind.
Anyway, I'll try "Apple: The Inside Story of Intrigue, Egomania, and Business Blunders", by Carlton.
I know Amazon has a ton of them, but some of the books are.. better than others
That's why I was hoping I might be able to "appeal to the commons", to see what's good, by the measure of what's popular.
I'd particularly love any others in Audiobook, since I can easily listen to those while driving, but I'm up for anything. Some stories, such as Cult of Mac, really only work in print, and others haven't been ported, and may never be.
In any event, Thanks for the reccomendation, and I look forward to hearing from some others.

After watching PoSV I became intrigued somewhat about Apple history too. So then I discovered that the film was based on the book "fire in the valley: the making of the personal computer" by Freiberger and Swaine.. But by the time I got through it I wasn't as much more in know about Apple's boyhood garage days as much as I became exposed to all the other movers and shakers in the computer world in those early years. Still a good book, but not as simple as the film was.
