I do like SD size over CF, but CF is much faster than SD.

Theoretical maximum:
SD = 12.5MB/sec
CF = 16MB/sec

the new CF 3.0 spec that was announced at CES allows up to 66MB/sec. not backwards compatible, however (or, if it is, it probably runs at the current 16MB/sec maximum you quoted)

Looks like the floppy is officially dead for REAL. I was hoping they'd hurry up and do something like this.
Late yes, but it doesn't matter. Every computer in the past 6 years has USB so yeah.

this would rock. no more flash readers. no more usb cords to plug into a camera. no more camera's with usb 1. it wouldnt matter anymore.
i'm just worried about the durability of such a thing. the hinge looks fragile.
