When Gmail first came out, accounts were given to active Blogger users (yes, I had one of the early ones). Now that Orkut is out, I sadly have not been given an account, and I feel excluded. I know that you have to have an invite now, but how did the original ones get access? Is it just the programmers and their friends? Only beta testers? I volunteered for one of those beta tests too (I was supposed to drive down to San Jose) but I never got emailed back.

O yeah, I would love and Orkut invite if you have one to offer. What is that you say? I'm not your friend? Well I'll be your friend if you give me one.

I dunno. I had a look at Orkut some time ago and haven't accessed it for month. I find it a bit pointless to be honest. It's full of Brazilian teenagers for some reason.

orkut has been around for a while. It was out long before Gmail.
