It occured to me, in hoping that someone would break Apple's press gag, and report live on the keynote, how easy it would be to fake it...
If someone were to log on to irc.macnn.net, and tell the #macnn channel that they were getting SMS messages from someone inside, they could easily fool hundreds, if not thousands, of people.

It would probably get written up on webpages, and have hundred's of people excited, over lies...

It would be the most Evil thing in a decade. Just be glad that I didn't do it

Now Colin - I know we're all dorks here, but you just stepped it up a notch by typing out a whole fake keynote. Please don't escalate it any further by (say) making a Keynote presentation with your fake news.
