ok, not like a lot of help, just some comments.

I am partnering with a friend of mine who is amazing with Vinyl uphostery. He made me some speaker covers (cause I gig a lot) and they are incredible. really nice work on everything he dose. Everything is a custom job.

Do me a favor, go to my Ebay listing & tell me what you think. Would this be something you might be interested in for your amp or speakers?

also if you have a second, look at our crapy web site

Just trying to get some feedback on our custom covers.

thanks guys!!!

They look pretty cool, but honestly I've never even considered buying anything like this. They're not strong enough to protect against any kind of real impact, and if you play loud enough you really don't have to worry about dust settling in there.
Good luck though.

What I can see from the pics, it looks good, but I actually have no idea if the prices are right, etc. No offence though.

With a product like this, your target market won't be real musicians. It'll be home-musicians who want "something to keep the dust off" their gear between bouts of boredom.

Real musicians (1) want stronger stuff for carting their gear around in and (2) tend not to leave their gear idle for long enough to bother covering it with anything.

Go for the home market, for sure.

I would consider getting one. I use an amp now and then when playing guitar, but for the most part I use an effects processor routed into my Powerbook, and headphones. Something about having a 4-year old sleeping in the next room when I want to practice at night. Anyway, my amp is out with the rest of my setup, but rarely used, so it'd be nice to throw something like that over it as a dust protector.

all good points. Real impact is really not what its about, its about everyday loading in your van unloading carry through the door hitting it as you pass.

Dust collects in anything that sets, loud or not. So I know that my amp that is pictured in the ebay thing is in 100x better shape than my band mates amp (identicle) and the only difference was the cover over the course of a year. now these are alot tighter so it would've helped even more.

thanks for your imput!!
