Cube Out Mini In

I am one of the few who went wild for the Cube and got the whole advertised postcard setup; Cube, with 15inch flat panel when it came out. Now that that 500mhz can get slow when doing some intesnse things, the owners of these setups can just plug the Mac Mini and boom, the same box, but faster and newer, awesome value for money. I'd totally get it, but I love using my powerbook too much, and my dad now uses the cube, checking email and playing with iPhoto is as intense as his tasks get. But in perspective, this idea seems for logical.
