snapped this pic yesterday while I was at work. this thing's dope. I'm a big fan of boats and moreso fishing boats, but this thing is baddasss.

it's at least 130+ feet, and all dull grey with a bright orange stripe on the waterline.

I believe it's either a Mangusta or a Pershing. similar to the boat Usher arrived at the VMAs in Miami.

anyhow, this thing's bad, and it's brand new. multiple millions of dollars will buy it.

gosh:

Are we sure it's a 130+? Doesn't look like much more than an 80 from those pics.

Must be that large rear deck causing an optical illusion - I'm used to looking at boats with a shorter rear and longer flybridge, or tri-decks like this 115:

It's also really flat which helps see that it's pretty long.

that's a very nice boat. would be cool to cruise around in one for a while, but then i'd have to put it back nicely and hope the owner didn't notice it was gone

I'd have no need for a house if I had one those. The Caribbean would be my backyard.

Looks fun, but I'd rather have one of these:

I dunno.

I love boats, but I haven't got much truck with these new yachts. Personally I'd love something made from wood. With teak decks.

I know this is a much smaller boat, but I've always loved the Vripack Survey design:

I'd love to live on one of these. Also, I saw a Royal Navy tender for sale recently. About $80.000, with maybe the same amount needed to convert it. Absolutely stunning, and built from oak, surprisingly enough. Of course, with the engines it comes with the purchase price wasn't the only thing to worry about. These things aren't built for economy.

Here's another Royal Navy boat for sale. $250.000 and it's yours. (Helicopter not included)

Saw that in the Robb Report a while back. Niice.
The propulsion system consists of three gas turbines generating 16,800 HP, driving water jets - two steerable outboard and a non-steering on centreline. For manoeuvring and long deliveries, the steerable water jets are powered by two diesel engines of 370 HP each. The exhaust system is made of titanium that saves weight while being very resistent to the high temperatures generated by the gas turbines.
