Why am I getting a stupid popup asking me to fill out a survey every time I click on something new on maccnn?

It's driving me nuts!

probably cause most people who visit macnn have either safari, firefox, or another pop up blocking web browser. so they get the extra income for the pop up but bother a very small percent of the visitors.

I don't get it here when I turn off pop-up blocking.

But then, I get localized ads, so...

Fire an email off to one of the mods/admins.

I'm quite certain pop-ups are NOT part of the regular ad scheme at MacNN, and you're just seeing one that slipped through.

It's like that terrible speaking ad banner that spooked around the site a while ago, until MacNN made sure with their ad suppliers that they were gone...until they showed up a SECOND TIME.

I completed the survey when I first entered MacNN. The repeat popup is quite frustrating. Don't want to block all popups though.
