Okay, I know there is AIM - but some of the relo's using Windows find it overwhelming and well, 'ugly'. I must agree, after using iChat for so long, I opened AIM the other day and it is one ugly bitch!

Surely with all the copycats out there, there would be a Windows program that connects to AIM and has an interface similar to iChat (if not identical). Anyone have any bright suggestions?

trillian is ugly imo, Miranda IM looks much cleaner.

That trillian iChat skin was exactly what I was after! Except that it requires Trillian Pro (the paid for version). I'll check out miranda IM. Does it have an iChat skin available?

Well to be honest I didn't try personally, I just read the read me that said at the top REQUIRES TRILLIAN PRO 3.0 ONLY. Is that normal?
