I just want to say that Apple's service kicks ass.
My AirPort Express base station had a problem recently. The connection seemed extremely intermittent, even though AirTunes worked just fine. After troubleshooting I narrowed it down to the base station itself. I took it to the Apple store, explained the problem and the Genius at the Genius Bar replaced it for me after confirming the issue.
to no more sleepless nights and some great service.

A nice thing you can do is just write an email to the store (email address can be found at www.apple.com/retail) and just say how much you appreciated the service.
EDIT: The email addresses aren't there... just send an email to the store name@apple.com (Example: for the Saint Louis Galleria store it would be saintlouisgalleria[at]apple.com. The staff will really appreciate it.

I find them to be pretty arrogant and rude. I went up to a "Genius" once and wanted an opinion or something. My Powerbook fan was making a loud noise (still does) and all I wanted was for the guy to tell me if he knew about this problem and what should I do (ie. should I have it fixed, should I wait for it to go away.. etc). The guy was such a dick, he kept on asking me if I had filed a report on the website. I was thinking, **** no, just give me your damn opinion about this problem. How long would that take, 20 seconds? What does 20 seconds (when he wasn't talking to anybody else) mean to that asshole?
