BLIZZARD CONDITIONS IN WESTERN AND SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA TONIGHT.
WHITEOUT CONDITIONS HAVE BEEN REPORTED OVER WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA THIS EVENING. THE STATE PATROL REPORTS THE PLOWS HAVE BEEN PULLED FROM AREAS HIGHWAYS AND RECOMMENDS NO TRAVEL. NORTHWEST WINDS FROM 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS NEAR 50 MPH AT TIMES WERE MOVING THROUGH WESTERN MINNESOTA...AND ARE EXPECTED TO AFFECT THE REGION THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE NIGHT.
A BLIZZARD WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR WESTERN AND SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA THROUGH THE NIGHT. THE AREA IS LOCATED WEST OF A LINE FROM ALEXANDRIA....HUTCHINSON....FARIBAULT AND ALBERT LEA.

Last thursday it was 66 degrees here in sunny upstate new york. Today it is -6, -21 with the wind chill. And it's snowing like hell. Nothing like 1/10th of a mile visibility for my commute to work. Yay!
