Only web access is having issues I believe, as my POP access is still working just fine.

Are GmailStatus and gCount working for anyone? Neither has worked for me in the last few days.

Google was just bought out by Microsoft, hence the sudden server issue. Keep checking MOSR for more details.

I don't see any mention of it on MOSR, and even if there were, I'd be hard-pressed to believe it.

Well, I wouldn't call it unbelievable. Wasn't MS trying to buy Google some time last year?

Could be, I don't remember. But as of late, MS has been working on their own new search engine, so it'd be an unlikely time to try and buy Google anyway.

My Gmail status was showing 0 for the past day or so when I know I've had at least 1 unread email in my inbox. Now it just shows an X. I can still access it using FireFox though.

Yeah, thanks! I hope gCount 0.5 comes out soon, because I like it a little more than GmailStatus.

One feature GmailStatus has over gCount is that it shows what label the new mail has. However, I prefer gCount simply because it has an icon (not the number of unreal messages) that changes color when you have new mail. I like how that catches my attention.

I like the look of gCount, it looks cleaner. I will probably make the switch when the new version comes out.

Mine as well. In fact, I'd have to say it's my all-time favorite. You know the DVDs are finally coming out in May, right?

Yeah, I've had them on pre-order since last January. I'm glad they are FINALLY releasing them.

Yeah, I ordered on December 5, 2003 and Amazon's still "processing." I made some bare-bones DVDs using my TiVo, iMovie, and iDVD about 3 years ago, but I'm anxious to get the official ones.
