So at my school, we are required to tak eone year of comp lab. So I thought, ok this won't be so bad. Next thing you know, the teacher gives us a "huge project", which turns out to be finding 5 html tags that he didn't teach us, and apply them in BBEdit....

Anyone else have lame classes?

Any class not relating to my major. That would be all the general ed classes I took in high school already... then have to retake in college.

"Super Difficult, For Geniuses Only" Class. At M.I.T.

It was lame, but (because I'm awesome) I scored 100% on all the tests and labs, and now they're asking me to teach it next year.

L4me.

I'm too cool for that sh*t.
When you were young and your heart was an open book, you used to say "live and let live."
But if this ever changing world, in which we live in, makes you give in and cry, say "live and let die."

Yeah, I took the followup class at Cal Tech. You didn't miss much.

yeah... Computer Basics when I was a freshman in college... This is a disk drive, this is a monitor, etc. At least it helped the GPA.

I have a friend who had Wine Tasting at Rutgers. Too bad they didn't offer that at Rowan!

yeah, i know a girl who managed to get knocked up by random-guy-in-a-bar, took the semester right before the birth off and got credit for the "experience". Love the liberal pseudo-hippie nutters at Antioch University.

Tell your professor about the </lame> tag.

I just started attending a college this year, and they automatically assume that every Business student can't read or write very well so they make us take a course titled "College Communications." It is very similar to the English course I took in grade 9. Spelling tests, little grammar tests, etc.

Ok, I'm done my rant.

Wait... nope... my relational database course is stupid too.

So...what? You skipped the class? Or did they not teach you about prepositions?

my tactic for dealing with lame classes is to bring a book, either a textbook or a novel, and read it during lecture when i get bored.
