Does anyone else notice that Lancer and Komisar put as much, even though both are in semi-retirement?

i think it would be funnier to have the rankings go in reverse - so you started as "clinically insane" and then worked your way up to "newbie" after several thousand posts.

... but then i'm a bit of a surrealist

i see it as a bell curve. start out as a newb, reach the top of the curve as a reasonable contributer, then you're just increasingly annoying.

A member reaches Addicted to Mac at 3,000 and that's the last upgrade.

Member rankings? Why would I want to be ranked?
What the nerd community most often fail to realize is that all features aren't equal. A well implemented and well integrated feature in a convenient interface is worth way more than the same feature implemented crappy, or accessed through a annoying interface.

That's at 1000, not 3000. There is clinically insane at 10000 which is the highest.

Maybe gorickey will come out of retirement to reach this mystery ranking? Nah, ManOfSteal will hit 20,000 in a couple of months.
