Oh. My. God. That sounds absolutely horrible. Maybe it's because I'm 30? Maybe it's because I homebrew beer and I would never dream of making that kind of convoluted bulldung?

I'm not going to call an ambulance this time because then you won't learn anything.

I'm going to try it. Who knows? I might just like it or not, we'll see.
Work will be more exciting at least.

I'll give it a shot, but it'll never replace a quality pint.

I'm not much of a drinker - less than one beverage every three months or so - but I am 23 and this product does appeal to me. Anything that can make beer less bitter is worth a try. Strangely enough, I discovered that I much prefer my dark beer warm, as the Brits do.
Cheers and l'chiam!

Next, it'll come with sugar-coated nuggets of corn flakes for breakfast.

Probably be a hit with lemmings.

I'm 29.5 and think it's also a horrible idea, but I also don't drink until the wee hours of the night anymore.... :-(
Maybe when I was 22...

Some good advice if you don't like the bitterness of beer:
No 1. The most important tip. Cool your beer to 0+°C or just above the freezing point of water. Here in Spain we just don't have it any other way anyway, and it cuts down the bitterness a lot besides it makes the beer so much more refreshing!
No. 2 Try beer that is brewed with maiz along with malt and hops. Those types of beer are generally a lot smoother. Suggestions include San Miguel, Cerveza Alhambra, Cruzcampo, 1692.. generally not the very light beers of Mexico or N-America (I don't know local American beers and I'm sure you can find some smooth brands there too) and not the German or N-European beers. Look to S-Europe or E-Europe for the best. If you can get Tiger it is well worth it (from Asia).

En contrario
1692 is French and Tiger is from Hong Kong (or Singapore, I forget), but most importantly drink your beer very cold if you don't like the bitterness.
Oh and whatever you do, don't drink Italian beer. Eeeew.

Vodka Red Bulls should not be mentioned in a discussion of faux beers. Quite a different animal.

Beer. It's not just for breakfast anymore!
As someone in the twilight of their twenties, I guess I'm already out of touch, because I don't think that would be appealing at all. If it still tastes like Bud, it'll be too nasty for the Bacardi/Smirnoff flavored drinks that are in the beer cooler.
I'd rather there be more low-carb beers. Aspen Edge is better than Mich Ultra, but that Rolling Rock green crap is one of the worst beers I have ever had in my life. I still miss being in Canada, where they have Big Rock Jackrabbit that has only 2.0g of carbs in it and tastes better than any of the US mass market beers.

the colder it is, the less flavor there is, if you don't like the flavor, why bother drinking it? to get drunk? stick to the hard stuff, its faster and cheaper.
