what will happen to you when MacNN goes offline, as it inevitably will? do you have a job/wife/life/boyfriend/hobby to return to? or will macnn leave a huge hole in your life that will mark the beginning of your downfall?

as for me, I will probably go insane when MacNN leaves us

Couldn't you do us all a favor and go insane now? Thanks!
One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.
I would prefer my humanity sullied with the tarnish of science rather than the gloss of religion.

John Q. Smith.

What an original name.

I think he's already "gone offline."

I'm going to go buy a huge t-bone and grill it up. I feel like eating red meat.

Later, John Q.

What do you mean when? It goes offline (well the forum does anyway) between around 9:30am and 10:30am (GMT) every day.

I would quickly setup my own macnn as a quick fix and get other macnn users help to create a new macnn thats what I would do LOL. Great things never die. They jsut get reborn.

That guy in California, the one that parked his truck on the railroad tracks?

He heard that MacNN was going offline from you, I'm sure.

Yes it is.

When John Q. Smith posts he is inevitably ridiculed.

I find it amusing.

Schadenfreude. Better him than me.

John Q. Smith being ridiculed is NOT a "misfortune".
It's a fact of life. Or self-fulfilling prophecy.
Whatever you wanna call it.

There is a john * smith for every letter of the alphabet.. when one gets banned, I move on to the next! however, I'm on my best behaviour after my IP address was banned. furthermore, spamming the lounge no longer seems to have any appeal to me.
