I'm pretty shocked - I mean, most people wanted it to happen (at least in the Chicago land area... unless you're on the South Side where they'd love to see him suck more for the Cubbies), but I can't believe someone actually took him! Poor Baltimore

I'm just glad the Mets came to their senses and stopped going after him.

Nothing final yet. I'll believe it when the deal is closed.

What is this "Sosa" you speak of?
Why is there always money for war, but none for education?

I'd change the title, but I guess users aren't allowed to fix mistakes

I think he'll get into coaching for sure down the road, but first he is going to play in Japan I believe (unfortunately). I see him as a 1st Base Coach over a 3rd Base Coach though...

I probably should have fixed that for you instead of busting your chops, but how could I resist?

Good.

Let's see how they do this year now that they have bled what little talent the team had.

I agree. Why keep a guy the manager is afraid of offending, who then gives his "permission" to be moved down in the batting order, then complains about it? His bad attitude alone is enough of a reason to ship him out. I don't think he has another 50 homer season in him. Maybe he'll wise up and start hitting a few singles. Nah!
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Yonkers can have better TV reception.
