I am looking for a good, working USB Wireless solution for an older Mac PowerBook. Airport is out of the question. I have heard some bad stories about the DLink Wireless USB adapter... is there something that is similar in size and works well with Mac OS X?

It doesn't have a PC Card slot, or isn't it that old? Just use a wireless card then. Or are the slots bad and that is why you say Airport isn't a solution? I wouldn't USB but if that is the only solution, I'd buy from Linksys. I've had good history with several of their products.

What model PowerBook? A PCMCIA card should do the trick if the PB is a Wallstreet or newer.
