OK, I have these American Airline miles and would love to use them for something else besides travel. I have visited points.com but was not impressed with the return I would get. Do you all have any experience with this sort of thing. I was hoping that I could find a way to sell them and put the money toward a new Mac.
Reward miles or frequent flyers SUCK (or at least on my airline they do)
You can never get the flights you want for , you can only use them to upgrade if you buy a certain grade ticket at inflated prices, and you still have to pay the taxes and charges (which were AU$300 on my latest booking).
One of my biggest pet peeves are frequent flyer schemes (or scams!)
