Yah everyone loves cake. I'm living with my mother-in-law while our house situation finalizes and I wake up every morning to the smell of cake. I'm gaining weight by the day.

See her amazing creations here

The volcano one is ill-advised, but hey, customers. whaddya gonna do? Her wedding cakes are beautiful. I know from first and second-hand experience how tough this stuff is-- I used to be married to a pastry chef.

my aunt did that for years too: wedding, special occasions, etc.

i hope the fish cake doesn't taste like fish!

when i eat something that has been shaped to look like something else, many times i have to close my eyes to eat it so it doesn't make me think i'm eating that something else.

oooo, thats a good point. I bet the cake sounds better.

The Volcano is actually a mountain. The people got engaged on a mountain so wanted it for their cake. You know, the customer is ALWAYS right.

whats even more amazing is how they taste. People who refuse to eat cakes at weddings (like DJs and photographers who are there all the time) always have some of hers.

She is 100% referal and is busy every weekend. 7 weddings on 1 saturday is her limit but then again she never sleeps.

She made the Geosphere from Epcot a couple of years ago and it was incredible!! Wish I had a pitcure of that one.

If you'd asked me 10 years ago if I'd actually spend time viewing pictures of cakes, I would have thought you were crazy. Now .. in the post-intaraweb world ... anything is possible.

Those are some dam nice cakes.
