Well, I was betting how long it would take me to lose the thimble-like clear plastic cap that covers the end of my power supply connector to the my new iBook. It's gone. How do I get a new one?

I know how it feels to lose something that you will try hard not to, and then it's gone! I truly hope you get this cap back soon.

Same.

Say - does anyone know where I can buy some new polystyrene shaped the way it comes in the PowerBook box? I lost mine and would like to buy some more

Well, I figure they help keep dust out of it, and more importantly help prevent the stick-thingy from getting bent.

I'm sure it does; there again, alarms help cars from getting stolen supposedly as well.

Also, I just don't like the idea of beginning to lose things from my iBook. I mean, what's next --- something important, like the VGA adapter?

Why?

I hope the heart-filled joy of the world can stay together and someday understand the comparison made above by ManOfSteal will heal those who have lost pieces of their iBook unintentionally.
