According to this MacNN article. Universal and Apple have added Hong Kong pop songs into iTMS.

I did a search on iTMS (using keywords "Kelly Chen", "Jacky Cheung", "Alan Tam" and "Hacken Lee"), and they all ends up with only one album each (except for Kelly Chen , which has two albums).

All of those albums are pretty old, at least 4-5 years old. I think Alan Tam one might be even close to 10 years old! Very disappointing that Apple and Universal put quite old Canto-pop album into iTMS: it completely de-value the use of iTMS, and I think it can only encourage more people to swap latest Canto-pop songs illegally in the net. What is Apple thinking???

Too make the matter worse, if you look at the album art for the "only" Jacky Cheung album in iTMS, it is actually the album cover for Miriam Yeung... can't they tell the difference between a male and female artist?

Apple already gave you William Hung, what more do you want?

Ask not what iTMS can do for you, ask what you can do to make iTMS better!

I love it. Thanks, Apple.

Hey, bro.. latest Canto-pop songs suck so bad.
You rather want to listen to Twins, Fiona Sit, or Juno?

I never heard of those artists from China. Looks like Real Rhapsody doesn't offer Hong Kong pop music.

If it makes you feel any better there are enormous gaps in Apple's offering of Christian rock. I don't think they've updated it in like... forever... every tuseday I go onto the "inspirational" page and find... nothing

If that's the case, would you able to tell me what age would Kelly Chen be now? Which country did she do her high school?

I think it's a start, it will only grows more titles eventually if it becomes popular.

But i am disappointed that the albums and songs characters were displayed in english spellings instead of the native chinese characters.

Heng1, or just hng. Quite logically

Eug: I mean exactly that - that I've learned half. I've gotten to the point where I'm conversant and can use it, now I just need to get really good and be able to work on more advanced material/lead more advanced conversations.

Maybe you've got it set to the wrong encoding? IIRC, the character-to-HTML-code conversion only happens if the encoding is right (ie. set to "automatic"). I think.

I can only read that in any way in UTF-8, and I can only see parts of it then. What are you trying to say? I get "There's nothing right/correct... 's Chinese... This is... people use... language... National affairs towards or country is right... is a method of rejection... America will [soon]... manage [or maybe "doesn't matter"] it will quickly/soon set up a fastfood rgime". Can you connect the missing dots?

I said there's no point in learning Chinese because it's gonna die out and be replaced with the language of the American fast food regime being imposed on China.

Yea, random, but whatever.

Jay Jo's done some fairly good stuff, but he's also done some quite bad stuff...

I like 以父之名 (In the Name of the Father - the one with the opera and sort of Italian-style stuff), and 晴天 (Bright Day? Spring Day? Something like that perhaps) gets in my head from time to time and is very hard to chase out again...
