I was reading the post about which Mac Magazines are the best. I then looked at magazinepricesearch.com and it gives several magazine subscription services. One of them is ArrowMags. Is this a quality company? Is there a better company that some of you use? Should I stay away from these companies?

I'm partial to Amazon's magazine subscription service. They send you handy reminders via e-mail when your subscription is up and allow one-click renewal.

Your local newsagent.

1) It keeps local people in business, thus improving your country's economic infrastructure.

2) It gets you out of the house once in a while when you go to pick it up. Sunlight is good and all that.

3) It offers you the chance to bump into and talk to that hot chick who's there getting her copy of "Hot but Lonely Mac-Loving Geek Chick Monthly".*

(ever noticed how in romantic films nobody ever starts on a passionate relationship by bumping into someone at their front door?)*

* May be irrelevant if you've already got a Hot Geeky Love Thing at home, but it's there for those who haven't.
If it doesn't scare hippies, it's not worth listening to

Magazines are obsolete my friend. As are newspapers, and TV news (with the possible exception of The Naked News, unless they fail to replace the anchorwomen every decade or so). Get yourself a broadband connection and you'll have access to all the info you need. I have not one magazine subscription.

What do you read while in the boys' room? You don't take a PowerBook in there do ya? Remind me not to touch your PowerBook.
