Longhorn: http://rapidshare.de/files-en/561124/shelf.wmv.html

Oh rapidshare is the only place I know that can host a file this large. When you go to the link, everything will be in german or sumthing. Click Free at the bottom in the chart thing and then wait like 90 seconds for the link to appear on the page. Then right click the link and click "download linked file as"

Haha, that's great. Ripoff of Mac OS X circa 2001, with a weird Microsoft interface that involves a lot of right-clicking. Perfect.

Why does Apple spend more time suing fansights and not Microsoft.

"This large?" It's 701 KB! That was a lot of work for a >1 MB file.

Kind of a lame implementation on MS's part, though.

If that was supposed to be a "ripoff" of Expose, then that sure was a clumsy implementation of it.

So, MS users will think it is the most brilliant thing MS has ever invented and when you show them how it works on a Mac they will say "they don't mind the way it works in Windows".

THE ENTIRE FRIGGIN OS IS A CLUMSY IMPLEMENTATION BUT NOBODY CARES!

Better: if they try it on a Mac, they'll say, "Hmmm. Windows lets me right-click on the windows and select from 14 different options for closing them... why can't the MAC do this?"

I hate to break up the party but...

a) The interface was demoing docking windows to the bottom of the screen (like the OS X dock) and not something like Expose.
b) Thats a very old movie of Longhorn, and that interface was abandon long ago. Notice that this version has no start menu. Microsoft reversed that decision a few years ago. All modern builds of Longhorn now have the taskbar back at the bottom in black.

What was the part about positioning all open windows so you can see them on your screen... then selecting the one you want? Kinda like Expose.

http://www.winbeta.nl/modules.php?na...cle&sid=32

There is a link to a huge-@ass (1280 x 1024) video on this page. Requres DivX and I had to use stuffit expander to open the zip (OS X's BOM helper couldn't do it). Big 'ole 6:36 movie though.

Looks like it has a long way to go. I hate the sidebar thing for the windows. Way too cluttered in my opinion.

That was Microsoft's new minimizing feature, not Expose.

Looked extremely similar to Expose to me.

Hm, I couldn't even get StuffIt to open the .zip file... Neither WinZip nor StuffIt will do it. Don't you just love that?

But no Start menu. Longhorn will now guess what application you want to run.
