Hey, I would like to inform the members of MacNN about a new site that covers everything from iPod's to Mac's. I am the owner of this site and I would appreicate it if you register and post on our forums. Currently, we only have forums up, but the site should be up within a day or two. We are currently looking for moderators and admins for the iPodToMac forums.

URL: http://www.iPodToMac.com

Thanks,
Matt

Can you please tell me. Did I not follow one of the forum rules for this forum?

Looks like over 44% of people who took the poll on your site thinks it's terrible.

I got that and a warning about your site crashing or some other such thing.

You are not going over well dude.

Well, the site was started yesterday so people are going to think it is terrible because not much is on it. Also, our forum is the only content up right now.

Thanks,
Matt

Because your site has nothing of any interest on it, because there are already lots of much more active forums and communities (like this one), and so on.

You'd have most probably gotten more (positive) response if you were a fellow MacNN member. But with zero posts (now 4) ist just looks like, let's say advertising.

But the site looks nice.

Matt425, you asked if it breaks the forum rules. Generally, creating an account just to advertise something (websites, products, etc) is spamming no matter where you do it. Spamming is against the rules here.
