Hello,
Is it just me or has MSN Hotmail stopped remembering passwords when you use the option to save your password? I almost never used to have to enter my password when i logged onto www.hotmail.com as it had saved my password and automatically took me to the "MSN Hotmail - Today" page. However, now each and every time i visit www.hotmail.com it asks me to "Please retype your password", despite always selecting the "Sign me in automatically" option. Did Microsoft change this behavour with the recent MSN.com redesign? I have used and continue to use Firefox 1.0 with cookies etc unchanged (and enabled). I've also tested it with other browers and get the same result. Is it just my MSN account or is that happening to others?

It happens to me too. I figure that's just something else that Microsoft can't get right.

It happens here on WinIE as well, so I don't think it's Mac specific or even browser specific.

I noticed this too. I'm always waiting to log in one day and be told it's no longer free or something.

Thanks for all the info. I was getting paranoid that Microsoft was out to bother me. It looks like the Passport.net system itself is experiencing some issues for the past few days. Hopefully it would be resolved soon....
....whom I kidding, this is Microsoft...Better get used to this new 'feature' of Hotmail.
