It is like a blog, but made by someone who is too lazy to type their own blubber and decide to distribute it in MP3 form.

Should work in any MP3 player, not just iPod.

P.S. I'd rather listen to Rush Limbaugh instead of any "podcast" amateur.

Not quite correct.

There are many amateur podcasters out there, but professionals out there have podcasts, as well.

BBC has a podcast for one of its shows.

A lot of public radio is offering likewise.

And some professional musicians offer recordings of music.

There's probably more...
