I generally hate SUV's but if it gets decent MPG, I think it would make a fun toy....

Looks like someone's been looking at Bowler Wildcats.
(for those who don't want to dig, the top-level Wildcat is quicker than a Lamborghini Diablo).

Yeah, that is a nice one. I wonder if it's a face, with a vertical smile.

Looks great to me. I dumped the H1 for a more reasonable SUV and I'm looking for something more aggressive. My Infinity QX4 is nice on the road but I wouldn't do any serious off-roading in it. The Jeep Rescue was my first choice, but the FJ has always been a favorite, and if they're bringing it back, that may be the way to go. Toyota quallity is superb. No telling when or even if the Rescue will be released, and the final product is usually a disappointment compared to the concept.

Pics, since no one else has:
The interior looks like it sucks, but you never know until you sit in one.

I love the interior.... but then again... My hobby is my Jeep Wrangler, and 4wheeling/camping. as long as it has solid axles, and coils it will be a solid performer, and knowing toyota axes, they are some tough stuff...
at least this comes from a person who actually uses his SUV to do off-road things, so my opinion is slightly skewed.
and just so all the greenies start jumping down my throat, I drive a toyota corolla 90% of the time... so my gas guzzeling beast only gets used for it's intended purpose...
I love the FJ... the ones from way back when are still worth a lot...
GO TOYOTA!
Zach
