Etymology:__
the parts of the word each mean `at nothing' or `with a small price'

That's the second time in a few days that word's come up... In case anyone's wondering, it comes from 'flocci', 'nauci', 'nihili', and 'pili', all Latin words mean 'nothing, something of absolutely no importance' + '-fication'

The second of the pronunciations you listed seems the most correct one.

Or Welsh ones. As far as I know, the longest single-word place name in the word is Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwillllantisili ogogogoch...

Thing is, a complex idea in First Nations most languages will translate as a "word", especially when giving the name of a geographical location; people will describe how to get there and the location in one word.

I still think landsbyskolelærerenkealderdomsforsørgelseskassesel skabsbestyrelsesnæstformandssuppleant is the coolest word in the Danish language...

(I also still think it's very strange the way that word always gets cut off halfway)

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysilio gogogoch is probably what you are thinking of, but it's a town in Wales.

It's beaten by TAUMATAWHAKATANGIHANGAKOAUAUOTAMATEATURIPUKAKAPIKI MAUNGAHORONUKUPOKAIWHE - a hill in New Zealand

However, the longest word is 1913 letters long - the chemical name for the compound C1289 H2051 N343 O375 S8

Well, I edited it twice. You'll just have to live with the result.
