the problem with the Clie IMO is that they went for "all in one, look what this can do, holy crap it's gorgeous, this is bling tech" instaead of "this feature really helps the consumers"
exactly what i dont want my iPod to become

Put YOUR iPod in a safe, so nobody can touch it. Then it won't change.

i loved those clie, and through the years i had my share of pdas.
The days of monochrome pdas. =)
the colors the colors!!!!
this guy fell one night and well... The screen is gone. Im always looking on ebay for a replacement screen. I loved this thing the most, camera, mp3 player, nice scree size, and best of all a freaking remote for the tv. =)

I loved my l'il color Clie, but after awhile, found myself carrying it less and less. Convergence, baby. If Apple/Motorola actually do an iPod-phone, game over! I'm in almost no matter what it costs.
If I had a complicated schedule, I'd definitely consider a Blackberry-type device... But the days of the standalone PDA... Over, IMO.

Aren't we past due for another "this means that Apple is about to release a PDA" post?

Wasn't Apple going to release that new PDApod tomorrow anyway?

Unless it somehow manages to emulate a TI-83, I have to stick with my Sony Clie with PowerOne Graph.
