What the heck is a russian(?) casino advertisement doing on MacNN?? I've seen this on the main page and on the forums. WTF? If I wasn't at work right now I'd post the screenshot. I'll just post the ad image instead for now.

As much as I'd love to use safari, I'm stuck on a Win2k box and the evil IE.

Well it is just a Fast Click ad. So MacNN may not even realize it's there.

another thread here had a link to where you can optout of fastclick ads. link try this on for size it might help.

I prefer Firefox and the AdBlock extension. It will block ANYTHING. Just enter a wildcard of say *.fastclick.* and that'll be the end of that.
