I applied to Lawrence University, it's my first choice.

If I get in, I'm going

I fell in love with Appleton when I visited it this summer.

I stayed at a motel, was traveling by myself which is cool if you're a teenager.

I saw Fahrenheit 9/11 on opening night at the local theaters with all the local hippies/liberals

The people in Wisconsin are sooo nice.

Russ Feingold kicks ass.

positive rant over

An exgirlfriend of mine goes there. The campus is nice and she seems pretty happy with the education she is receiving. What do you plan to study?

I got up there all the time. All my relatives are from there. Fox River Mall is pretty nice too. They also have a new performing arts center that you should check out.

Classes are a joke. The undergrad degree has its value because of the rankings but the challenge in getting it is nonexistent. The value of going to school there is highly suspect if you pay out of state tuition.

That said, I did get into a first tier law school with one of their degrees. But high school was harder than UW. If you aren't going to be involved in a research based discipline look at private colleges instead.
