Did any of you guys ate at Chipotle before???
I did but not for awhile because there was no Chipotle in my area until I visited my sister in Washington DC. The first thing I did was went to Chipotle and ate a delicious burritos.
They make the #1 healthly burritos. Nothing can top that.

I've never been a fan; however, it's not my kind of food either.

I don't eat there because there are so many other hole-in-the-wall taco shops that are way better in San Diego.
Plus, Chipotle is owned by McDonald's, and I don't eat there.

Mexican food is great. Tex-mex has definite great moments. But Chipotle?
I'm not sure why people love this place so much. I've never had a good burrito there. Maybe it's the size that people lust over?
The chicken's always charred -- too much carbon for my tastebuds.
The salsas just aren't that good.
They are quite unhealthy.
Give me a 10-peso taco in Tijuana instead, any day.

I've never heard of them (expect they're US only), but the menu system on their website is ubercool!!! Check how it gradually changes the grey shapes into either tacos, avocados or tomatoes when the mouse nears the menu area, with several 'stages' that look sort of like grinding wheels in between.

I've been to a couple of them in New York and like them a lot... has anyone ever been to Q'doba? The only one i know of is in the Short Hills mall in new jersey, but the weird thing is that the restaurant is exactly the same as Chipotle, down to the menu and the way you order and the style of the decorations and everything. I can't find any connection between the companies, though.

They have a few in Chicago and I've eaten there twice. I'd rather support a locally owned whole-in-the-wall Burrito joint, then a conglomerate "McDonald's Burrito".

I can't stand Chipotle. Ate there way too much in grad school and now the though of it almost makes me gag. Do love Leeann Chin though, nredman. Especially the sesame chicken now that they made their food a bit more zingy.

I grew up in LA and have lived in California my entire life. So I've always had easy access to top notch Mexican food. Does this necessarily make me an expert? Nope. But for me, Chipolte is low grade dog food. The meats are terrible, and that kills everything they make. If you like it though, that's fine. It just doesn't do it for me.
If I don't know where a good taqueria is, I feel perfectly fine going to a Baja Fresh however. They have really good food there.

Chipotle is good, once in a long while. I'm pretty sure they're the same as Qdoba in MI.

I eat at Chipotle probably 3-4 times a week, I usually go there for lunch during my lunch break from work...
and Qdoba is the same concept but a totally different company, I have eaten there once, and I was not all that impressed, but I personally love Illegal Petes, I am pretty sure it's specific to boulder colorado, but it's DAMN good, a lot better then chipotle, and they have some DAMN hot girls who work there too, one of the benefits of a college town i guess...

Well I pray for your Chipotle fans. Prayer for your health.
With 2500-5000mg Sodium,
1000-1500cal,
and transfatty partially hydrogenated vegetable oil tortillas...
...let's just say you're not doing yourself a favor by eating there.
I'm just glad I don't care for the flavor.

Chipotle is good but I prefer Qdoba. Their menus aren't identical, because I don't think you can get taco salads at Chipotle. Their decor et al. are exactly the same, though.
I agree with others: gimme a real Mexican joint over one of these places any day.

actually you can get salads at chipotle. they just started to offer them, and i HIGHLY doubt that Qdoba is the same as chipotle, I have been to both in my area, there are actually a Qdoba and a Chipotle within a mile of each other near where I live...

Oh man you suck. Now I gotta go tonight. I don't have a choice. I have to go... THANKS A LOT!
Yes, I have eaten there. Yes, their burritos are the best burritos on the planet. Yes, I love them with all of my body (including my pee-pee).
[edit]
Holy effing shiet! I'm glad I only eat there once a month... they are soo good but the burrito I eat is 1250 calories and has 52g of fat. Wow. I guess that's ALL I should eat that day.
I mean, I didn't think they were good for me, but I didn't think it'd be like eating a pound of lard for breakfast.

Chipotle is okay, but if I want real Mexican food, I go to a local place called Mario's. They serve the best Mexican food I've ever had in the States.

I prefer Taco Bell if I'm going to poison myself with quasi-Mexican food.

Chipotle is TERRIBLE. Their meats are always way too burnt and dry. Plus all you can really get there is a burrito.
I'll take Moe's or Qdoba over Chipotle any day of the week. At least they give me some options, like quesadillas, nachos, or some tortilla soup.
I also hate how Chipotle makes their burritos. They layer everything so weird, one bite of the burrito is all rice and then the next one you get the rest of the ingredients. They're just bad all around...

the moment you guys start naming chains ... err...
the best mexican food come from mexican restaurants.
I live in the mission district in san francisco (nothing but mexican and central/south american people and their eateries...)
i doubt chipotle comes close. oh .. and their burrito's arent that big .. or that cheap. you should see the huge burrito's you can get here. EVERYTHING is included for under five bucks. you dont have to pay extra for sour cream / guacamole etc ... and everything is fresh and cut up in front of you .. not out of a package/can etc .. (well maybe the beans are canned .. dunno)
