I'm a big fan of the new show, but I've only been able to catch the first five episodes.

Friends I have say that the show has been out in Europe for some time, and that they have downloaded almost every episode (up to 11 or so) from places like BitTorrent, etc.

I am completely clueless about sites like BitTorrent. I tried to use BT once when I had a PC, and never figured it out. Besides, I worry about the sites being virus-ridden even for Mac.

So, does Mac have any ability to download a series like BG, where would it be from, etc.?

Needless to say, I prefer to stay legal. I'll most likely be buying the series on DVD anyway, but I REALLY want to see it before then.

Thanks!

Yes, there are quite a few BitTorrent clients on the mac. I'd recommend Tomato Torrent or Azureus (I probably spelled that wrong). It works, as you probably know, by downloading from many many uploaders so you can often get very high speeds although some people have various speeds problems.

I'm not going to mention any sites because I don't think the mods would smile on that. A little poking around on google should bring up a few though.

Also keep in mind BT makes it very very very easy for you to be traced.

Buy them on DVD. Tape them from SciFi.

Why don't you just watch the show on Fridays? There's new ones every week at 10PM. It's one of the best shows in recent years in my opinion. I like it as much now as I did the real version as a kid!

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.

I too was a kid when I watched the original, cheesy-but-wonderful series, and I also love this much grittier, organic version that's on now. My only complaint? I miss the original score and think the new music doesn't do much. Other than that, bravo!

Because I'm living out of hotels that don't necessarily have Sci-Fi Channel.
