I thought it might be interesting to have a thread about live cams.

Great cams would be local cams that show where you live, or maybe you know of an unusual or exotic live cam showcasing a place where people don't get a chance to visit very often.

As most of you may have noticed, the link below my sig is a live cam that shows the beach near our home.

Maybe some of you have good live cam sites to share also? Especially if they are of a place near where you live. It allows everyone to vicariously experience other parts of the world.

Not many people have live cams they look at or know about, apparently?

Here's a cool one: Isle of Man (click on two cams lower right.

Too cool; I'm about 6-8 hour drive South of that.

Very nice Cody Dawg, when might we have a chance to see you on the beach?

Currently south-facing view of the Burrard Bridge (in summer, it's of English Bay to the west) from the West End, Vancouver.

Laguna Beach, California. I wish I was there right now. I've heard some really cool stuff about it.

http://www.alaska.net/~spdskatr/livecam.html

scroll to the bottom of the page for like 10 links. 32 cams on each page will load in.

most are updatd, some are not.

enjoy
