How many times a day you get this problem?

Anything being done to fix it?

There's always a slight problem with the database. I've never tracked it, but there's always other sites I can go to.
Why is there always money for war, but none for education?

Given that you posted this topic, seems you got it working

But, yeah, I just hit refresh a couple of times. If no go, I take my surfing elsewhere and come back later. As far as the admins doing something about it, I'm not sure that they can. It might be that the database is just being hit a bit hard and you just have to deal with it.

See the part about "exceeded max connections?" It's entirely fixable, by increasing the maximum number of allowed connections to the database.

However, if the server can't support the additional connections, it would just make matters worse.

1. This belonged in the Feedback forum.

2. The mod/admin team knows about the errors -- we pound the forums like few normal members do. The error message is bogus, because in fact it's not exceeding the maximum connections, and we're trying to track down the real problem.
