Hi hi. I'm just sticking this into General Discussion because I'm really not sure where else to put it.

Anyway, I'm in a band and would like to set up a pod cast to the people on our mailing list. How does one go about doing such a thing?

Thanks for your help.

Search Engines Are Amazing.

For the love of Heaven, WHY WON'T ANYONE TRY AND FIND THINGS ON THEIR OWN ANYMORE?!?!?!?!?!?!
"Everything's so clear to me now: I'm the keeper of the cheese and you're the lemon merchant. Get it? And he knows it.
That's why he's gonna kill us. So we got to beat it. Yeah. Before he let's loose the marmosets on us."

Oh cry me a river...

I never heard the term and didn't think it was actually a thing so spread out. And for FYI, I regularlly do research on line. not worth arguing over anyway.

Thanks JustAnOl'Broad and KLP, now I know.

Edit: all very cool stuff.

Just in case you're interested, I've installed NiceCast on an old iBook yesterday. Not exactly a podcast, but a nice way to broadcast your music. My wife loves being able to listen to her favourite iTunes playlists at work now.

Thanks for all the information. Does anyone have experience creating one or am I going to be the MacNN pioneer?

Also: who wants in on my PodCast?

As with everything in interweb, a few trigger many and many trigger numerous multitudes until everyone does what only a few used to do, resulting in en masse confusion in the system.
