I think you're being a troll on an XP forum.

It's annoying when PC zealots do that here; why would it be suddenly less annoying when one of us does it on an XP forum?

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

Meh.

"My OS is better than yours!"
"No it isn't"
"Yes it is!"

etc

You sure stirred the pot with that one. There are people saying "yeah, what WILL Longhorn give us that isn't already in some other OS," and others saying "what?"

But as you read the responses you still see a huge number of people who can't understand that Windows and Mac OS aren't enemies, but rather products for different purposes. Like some of the people who post here.

Now I will admit that I think anyone who buys a Navigator or Hummer is dumber than moose poop, but I don't think that the existence of either one is a problem. Instead I think of them as niche products; NASA used Hummers while searching for shuttle debris after the orbiter broke up over Texas. The Navigator would be useful for executive meetings while enroute between the office and the airport. Neither is a replacement for my Civic, and not only because neither one would fit in my garage.

I use OS X for some things, and Windows for others. For the uses most people put computers to-email, surfing and games-either one is ok, though the games market is tilted toward Windows and its larger market share. I AM waiting for some of OS X's nicer features to be emulated by Windows, but I'm not slinging mud about either one.

I got kind of tired after about ten responses in a row with BAD spelling mistakes and atrocious grammar. (Yes, I do have a dictionary next to my desk, but that's a different matter.) After a couple that had actually observed that you had a point there were just too many that seemed to come from nine-year-olds, so I gave up.
