I was just wondering how many people still use CRTs. TFTs are relatively cheap nowadays (even I got one!) and I guess everyone appreciates their advantages over CRTs. Still, serious gamers (of which won't be here too many, I guess) and media people that need the best color accuracy they can get (which is still on the CRT side I would assume) will not take a TFT over a CRT.

So what have you?

In 2000, I bought a Cube with a 15" TFT. When I replaced the Cube with a G5 this summer, I couldn't afford a new display really, so I bought a refurb. LaCie electron Blue IV 19"for 199.00 and stuck it next to the old Apple 15".

Laptop with TFT and desktop with CRT. Part of the reason I've still got a CRT is that I've been using this monitor with my last three desktops and it's still working, so why not?

LCDs for all my systems, home and offices. My eyes have never been so grateful. Zero strain with LCDs, whereas CRTs are harsh on the eyes over prolonged periods. Here and there I may use a CRT video monitor, but never as a computer monitor anymore.

At home I have a 19" TFT. At work I have an 8 year old fuzzy 17" CRT with a max refresh rate of 60Hz, which I stare at for 8 hours a day (or more, since I frequently work late). My brain hurts.
