At the rate it's going you'll have to move to some small island in the middle of the ocean.

.... which small islands have DSL or Cable modems????? (Just so I can start planning)

California and many other states already collect sales tax on out of state purchases.

I thought Apple charged tax on each sale, but that the price was adjusted so that the total was always $.99.

I guess not.
