Has anyone else noticed that when utilizing Ebay's picture manager it is impossible to upload images to your auctions if you are using OSX. Ebay claims they are working hard to correct this but it's been months now. Didn't realize the Ebay and Bill Gates were in bed together.

I have no problems uploading any pictures to eBay. None at all.

Which browser are you using?

I noticed that Safari does not work very well, though, and that rendering under Safari is inaccurate. I have to list auctions under either Netscape or Explorer because Safari doesn't work very well.

However, I did list Microsoft Small Business 2003 on eBay for $100, new and unopened, and eBay yanked it claiming that it violated Microsoft-something-or-other.

So, yeah, I think M$ and eBay are in cahoots.

I've tried safari and IE the latest and greatest. When at picture manager in safari and I select the upload/add icon nothing happens, In IE I get a blank window?? Are using 10.2.8?
I've tried two seperate computers and the same thing. If you have a solution I would be interested know what it is.

Only the very latest Safari under panther can upload pics on eBay - eBay broke something a year or so ago and Apple bodged a fix.

Something is wrong with your OS X or Safari. I'm not sure which or what. I don't have any problems at all with uploading images on ebay auctions. I'm using Safari, and I haven't had any trouble with any of the previous Safari's.

Here is an example of an uploaded ebay image using Safari:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=5759919035

Although I keep most of my images on my own server, the one with the little picture icon is uploaded to their server.

I notice that one or 2 programs get corrupted and cannot work on one Mac but work with another. For example Stuffit Expander will not unstuff the very first seperate file to be joined, but it will unstuff the rest of the files. One possible fix is to replace my whole OS and programs after reformatting my hard drive, but that's alot of work.

If eBay owes Microsoft any money then that would make eBay a slave.
