So - I've been keeping a few domain names in the hopes of one day actually getting around to setting up a web presence / e-mail etc... Until then, I'm just renewing these domain to make sure they stay "in the family". Currently, I'm using dotster who charges about $14 a year for renewals.
Wanted to see what others are paying (and transfers if you have that info). Wanted to see if I can save some duckets.

DreamHost, my hosting company, gives me a domain with the plan I have. I registered two more with them, which costs me $14.95 each to renew ($29.90 total).

godaddy for me as well. they seem to have pretty much the lowest prices. depends on the dot whatever you get, but with .us, .info, and .biz they only charge $6.95. longer plans save you more money on all dots.

I continue to have great experiences with namecheap.com for 8.88/domain. I didn't use godaddy initially because they didn't offer managing of zone files at the time (MX, CNAME, and A records for example). But I've only heard good things about godaddy.
And to continue with my experiences, I would stay away from Network Solutions (horrible customer support), and register.com (35/domain...OUCH!).
