I don't know if anyone uses the software Avantgo anymore...it may have seen it's day in the sun, but I downloaded and installed the Avantgo '05 Software last night and it's a lot faster on my Tungsten C and is much more user friendly. It's also much much more aesthetically pleasing as well. Because we are second class Mac Users, you will need to download something called Mal Conduit (do a google) and then download the individual PRC files from Avantgo's website and have the Palm App install them for you. Once you have the horrible install and configuration experience out of the way, it's a great free service!

If it supported the iPod, I might actually be interested.

I sold my Tungsten C awhile ago and gave away all of my other Palms. If I ever get a Palm Treo 650, which I highly doubt due to its bulk, then maybe I'll look into it.

It's too big, and has ads. That's my complaints with it.
Much prefer something like iSilo which is more difficult to setup but when you do it, it is well worth it.

I dropped AvantGo like a bad habit a long time ago, but if you use The Missing Sync, the latest version includes a native AvantGo conduit so you don't have to use the Mal conduit anymore.

Screw Avantgo. They can't get off their butts to make a Mac client and blame Apple for their own laziness. Why should I jump through hoops to give them business?
