not real yet..but how about a technology for cell phones that actually captures the sound in the immediate area of the mouth piece...and swallows it..sort of noise canceling headphones in reverse.
My initial reaction is that it wouldn't work because the phone would essentially need to broadcast the opposite sound..in order to cancel it out.
AFAIK, this is impossible as the phone would need to be able to predict what you would say in order to broadcast the opposite sound at the same time and cancel out your voice.
Otherwise, you'd essentially have just an echo phone.
