so yea, i'm not so into house or trance, so I stayed away from that this week during the WMC. I did, however, attend the Mixmasters party, with DJ Z-Trip, Q-Bert, Jazzy Jeff, Jeru the Damaja, Grand Wizard Theodore, X-Ecutioners and Rob Swift.

twas fun, Z-Trip was pretty much the headliner, and they all eventually got on stage together battling on the tables. it was awesome.

We live just 25 minutes north of Miami, and a lot of my friends had hotel rooms down south, so we had a local place to go get toasted before and after the show. got in free too.

good times

I think the Terri Schiavo thread has everyone occupied and that's why there isn't much action going on in your thread.

Anyway, looks like you had fun. I really like turntablelism (a lot has to do with the fact I can't do what those guys do), but I would have loved to have heard Tiesto live again. (I just looked at the WMC site and he's playing tonight.)

If you have them, post more pics

Sounds like a cool party. Some serious turntable action. And wow, Jeru the Damaja, I'll have to give him a listen as it's been a couple years. Actually does he have any new material or was it strictly the Your Playing Yourself, Can't Stop the Prophet type stuff?

I didn't actually make it for Jeru. oh well.. it's all about Z-Trip for me these days. check him out. TIIIGHT.

but yea, anyone on the bill played their best party jams, so I'd imagine he threw down some oldies but goodies.

this thread is way too hip for me

"I'm for anything that gets you through the night, be it prayer, tranquilizers, or a bottle of Jack Daniel's."
