Falwell did blame the gays and 'liberal agenda' for the 9-11 attacks.

Weird. This post was right above the Terri Schiavo thread, and I read "Terri Shiavo dead." I was like, "Whoa. That changes things."

Well I can't speak for Falwell but Johnny Cochran never killed anyone. And even the most murderous human deserves due process of the law. As an attorney you are sworn represent your client to the utmost of the law. Cochran did his job within legal boundaries plain and simple.
He was 25% of the legal staff. I wonder if people will applaud Shapiro,Scheck and F.Lee Bailey's deaths as well.
What a way to set a moral compass. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing we're bringing our "brand" of liberty to the middle east.

I don't really have a problem with Cochran other than he tried his best to get a murder off.
As for Jerry Falwell, he spread plenty of hate and discrimination over the years and now it sounds like God is really trying to kill him off.

Why do you assume what what I said was necessarily a bad thing? All I said was that they should get what they deserve for what they did in life. If you interpret this as some sort of Hell-concept that's your prerogative, but it doesn't make much sense for me interpret it that way, seeing as I don't believe in Hell.

Ya seems a bit late for that. At any rate the family should be happy about Jerry about to die as with all the good he did in Gods name so far he is virtually to skip the line into heaven.

When ol' Jerry sees the clear light of the Bardo, he'll cr@p his pants in fear and scuttle rapidly to his rebirth as a dung beetle.
