The storms that hit us here this past weekend has decided to give us seconds.
Back in 1994 I lost everything in the aftermath of Alberto.
This time I'm on higher ground, but my old neighborhood (the bottom 2 pics) is getting it again.

Can you find the dam?

I live near Perry, Ga, and our rain gauge topped off at six inches. It rained more than that, but I didn't venture out just to empty it. There were a few dams that failed in the area, fortunately none near our house. There were two roads that washed-out on my usual drive to work, though. Detours suck.

p.s. Alberto sucked, too.
