Anyway, there does not appear to be any real reason as to why they do it except that the first documented US college fraternity did it:

The Phi Beta Kappa Society was founded on December 5, 1776 at the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg VA. It is the oldest college fraternity and the first organization to have a Greek letter name.

OTOH, perhaps the English letters representing the Greek ones actually mean something. As far as I know, this isn't the case, but that may be one of the many secrets the fraternities keep

I don't eat Krispy Kreme donuts. I am actually a Tim Horton's guy. I got hooked on them several years ago on a camping holiday in Nova Scotia and PEI. Unfortunately there are only a handful of their stores in the States right now--I frequent one near my sister when I am visiting her in Ohio. But thanks for the concern. I kow you mean well.

I"ll tell ya, those Jews are some enterprising people.
But those chicks above are the reason I support dating 20 year olds rather than girls my own age.Better bodies, no serious commitment required, and way way more influenced by the overt sexuality pushed by our popular culture. Thank god for the four colleges that surround my city.
