I'd think this would be a problem from work, but it was happening at home also. Several web sites are listed as:

Cannot find server or DNS Error
Internet Explorer

It would be one thing if it were one or two sites, but this is like 7. Others I can find (obviously).

No problems here.

Did you try using the IPs for the sites to see if it is a DNS issue?

Actually, I take that back... Just tried again.

AVSForum and Hometheaterforum aren't working for me, either. Neowin is OK.

I just noticed you're in NJ. I'm in Chester county, PA... so we're close. Must be a local DNS server problem. Either that or its just coincidental that both these sites went down at the same time.

I'm not sure specifically where all those sites are hosted, but The Planet, a major datacentre in the US had a massive outage yesterday. which would have affected thousands (probably in the millions) of websites.

Most of their services are back up now, hence the websites functioning again.
