And to celebrate, we're all getting more space! Not that I really needed it since I'm only up to 21MB. But still... it's nice.

And no, this is not an April Fool's day joke.

Yeah, that's why I want 10GB before I start using it. If I were to pay for it, I'd want 1TB...

Well, the counter is still going (as expected I reckon). As of 3:11AM PST, it's at 2050MB.

This is a fantastic gimmick if ever there was one, supposedly there will eventually be no upper limit - those who need the space will have their accounts scale with them.

Not to mention, if you're using Firefox, you can compose messages in rich text format.

No worries. I use my mac.com address as my "normal" email address and have a gmail account for my Internet stuff. Just set it to forward a copy to .Mac so I can access it via mail.app.

Now, if someone knows of an easy way to forward files to gmail from hotmail other than forwarding each email individually, I'd be happy to leave hotmail behind once and for all (save for msn messenger/adium).

Step 1:
Get a free account at http://www.fastmail.fm/

Step 2:
In the Fastmail options page, find the Pop Links section and set Fastmail up to grab your Hotmail mail.

Step 3:
Go to the forwarding options and forward all of your Fastmail messages to your gmail account.

Step 4:
Delete your hotmail bookmark.

Thanks, Now, will that work with older files? I don't really get any more new hotmail messages but I do have older ones I'd like to keep.

I'm not sure, but I think it's just new messages. You could always try.

There's also a Mail.app plugin to grab your Hotmail mail. You may want to try that.
